We are very excited to announce that on Saturday 17th October, we will be 'Taking Over' the Rising Sun parkrun, Wallsend !

Where: Rising Sun Country Park
We would LOVE for patients to support this; either participating in the run/jog/walk, or volunteering for a role to support the event.
This is an event for the community, and we would encourage everyone to join in, either participating or volunteering, but we would appreciate as many patients and members of staff who are able to get involved.

Not only this, we encourage all those taking part to dress brightly and help us fundraise for Matthew's Meals and Miles, raising money for Children's Cancer North, a charity that brings relief, comfort, and financial support to young cancer patients and their families during their hardest moments.
This is in memory of Matthew, who was a patient at PMG. He was just 18 when he lost his two-and-a-half year fight against an incredibly rare and untreatable neuroendocrine cancer called paraganglioma on 23rd May 2025.
